Marcia Chame is a researcher at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) and also the scientific director of Fundação Homem Americano. Marcia started her work in Serra da Capivara in the 80’s, following the archaeologist Niède Guidon, while investigating the relation between humans and their parasites. Founder of SISS-Geo, a digital platform of Citizen Science which connects information about biodiversity collected throughout Brazil. Tânia Sanaiotti is a biologist who works for the conservation of the Harpy Eagles for 25 years. She is a researcher at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (INPA), Ph.D in Biology and the founder of Projeto Harpia. The Harpy Eagle is the largest eagle of the Americas and is native from the Amazon, also found in certain areas of the Atlantic Forest.
